Tanya Stephens Releases Some Kind of Madness

Tanya Stephens, the internationally acclaimed Jamaican singer-songwriter, released her tenth studio album, Some Kinda Madness on Tad's Record. The 20-song collection, produced by Tad A. Dawkins Jr., takes listeners on a wild ride through the mind and music of one of the island's most celebrated artists.

Tanya explores the full spectrum of Jamaican genres, masterfully guiding the audience along on scorching dancehall songs like "Aloe Vera" and "FIFTY," which features groundbreaking female deejay legend Patra, raucous ska numbers like "Jezebel," featuring "Million Women Rise" founder Sabrina Qureshi; and profoundly moving ballads like "World Go Round."

"So Damaged," featuring Tanya's daughter Kelly Shane Tanya shines on heavy one-drop rhythm tunes such as the title track, which features a powerful effort by Singer J, "Weight In Gold (ft. Nadine Sutherland)," and "Reset," which features the charismatic elder Big Youth.
