Zed2diZee Music, is a new record label that has launched with a bang, dropping a hot new reggae 'riddim' project called 'Planet Earth'. The compilation includes songs from Mikey Melody Turbulence, I Live Dappamann, Zion Head, Cento P, Run Ja Boss KA, Jah Lightin Mountain, and Kadamawi.
The compilation of songs is a solid mix of militant and conscious messages addressing racism, Rastafari, economic independence, colonialism, poverty, black lives matter and anti-violence.
Label CEO, Zion has been a songwriter for over twenty-five years but recently decided to launch a record label. Working with musicians such as Jeh Jeh, Rastea and veteran Jamaican artist Joseph Cotton, Zed2diZee Music is based in France and Kingston though its collaboration with Jahmento Records.
According to Zion, 'My mission is to carry out Jah works and spread the love of joy and send a positive message to the youth of today and tomorrow that we can all do this but only if we are all united.'
