Ultra South Africa is Back



Electronic dance music fans in South Africa are eagerly anticipating the upcoming Ultra South Africa festival, set to take place on March 10 In Capetown (Hollywoodbets Kenilworth Racecourse) and March 11, in Johannesburg, (Expo Centre Nasrec).

With a lineup of world-renowned DJs and producers, the festival promises to be a two-day celebration of music, dance, and energy. The #UltraSA2023 festival, presented by Smirnoff Storm. This is the eighth edition of this live music festival, and after a few years of social isolation and no activities, it's going to be a memorable one!


Some of the biggest names in EDM will be performing at the festival this year, including Alesso, Fisher, Adam Beyer, South Africa's own Costa Titch, and Focalstic. Known for their high-energy performances and chart-topping tracks, these artists are sure to get the crowd moving and grooving.

In addition to the headliners, the festival will feature a diverse range of up-and-coming DJs and producers, as well as local talent from South Africa. From deep house to techno, there will be something for every taste at Ultra South Africa 2023.

Beyond the music, the festival promises a truly immersive experience. The venues are impressive structures that can collectively hold up to 200,000 people, providing ample space for festival-goers to dance, socialize, and enjoy the festival's many attractions.


The Johannesburg Expo Centre is an iconic venue nestled in the heart of Johannesburg.

The facility has a total area of 150 000 square meters and a capacity of 100 000 people. The Expo Centre has over 20,000 parking spaces and is about 30 minutes from major airports. From food and drink vendors to art installations and interactive experiences, Ultra South Africa offers a full sensory experience that will leave attendees with memories to last a lifetime.

Ultra South Africa 2023 is guaranteed to be a highlight on the calendar of any music fan as South Africa continues to emerge as a flourishing hotspot for electronic dance music, Including Amapiano, South African house, Township music, Kwela and Kwaito.
