Notting Hill Carnival On Pause for 2021

The Notting Hill Carnival, billed as Europe's largest street party, has been postponed for the second year in a row due to the COVID-19 pandemic, organisers announced on June 18.

According to the organisers, "This has been an extremely difficult decision," they said in a statement. "Everyone involved in the event is desperate to get back on the road, where Carnival belongs, but safety must come first."
