Justin Bieber Joins Wizkid and Tems on Essence

Nigerian afrobeats megastar Wizkid continues to make waves and recently released 'Essence,' an instant summer afrobeats smash featuring Nigerian songstress, Tems.

The song now has a new remix, this time including Justin Bieber.

Bieber joins Wizkid on the single for a verse, marking the first time the two have worked together on a project. However, the two have long been admirers of one another.

Wiz's album Made in Lagos featured the sensuous Afrobeats/R&B single, first released in October 2020. Since its debut in July, the song has progressively climbed the Billboard Hot 100 chart, reaching No. 54 this month.
