Introducing Lil Bitts De Talawa One

Lil Bitts has been making soca music for many decades and hails from Belmont, Trinidad, but grew up in Diego Martin. The performer is also a costume designer and has sections of her own. The multitalented artist is also a songwriter, business owner, and wife.

In a recent interview with Joseph Charles, she noted, 'Music runs in my family. I have members of my family who are vocalists, musicians, painters. So it's in my blood. Couldn't get away from it. Yeah soca forever. But I do enjoy other genres.

So far, the singer has worked with Bunji Garlin, Baron, and Farmer Nappy; she hopes to collaborate with Christo and Voice, two of her favourite artists. 'I would love to do a collab with an all-female cast; I've had one or two in the past. Would love to be a part of one. One band, one sound.'
